Belding girls soccer shuts out Godwin Heights for first win

Spirits were high at Rudness Field on Wednesday for the Belding girls soccer team.

The Black Knights (1-4-3 overall, 1-2-1 OK Silver) had a slow start to the season, racking up losses and ties against some of the toughest teams in their conference. They hosted the Wolverines of Godwin Heights (0-8 overall, 0-4 OK Silver) Wednesday night for Parent Night, hoping to get their long-awaited first win of the season.
