Belding City Council hears update on new wastewater treatment plant progress

The Belding City Council heard an update Tuesday on the progress of the construction at the city’s new wastewater treatment plant. Construction began in the fall of 2023 on the $37 million plant, which will be located on Wells Road along the Flat River. “Things are progressing along nicely at the plant,” said Fleis & VandenBrink Process Engineer Scott Hall. “It's getting very, very close to complete, actually.”
