City Hall in Belding was built in the Beaux-Arts Renaissance revival style of architecture, a popular style in its time — 1915.
During the Oct. 18 meeting of the Belding City Council, council members heard presentations on proposed updates to be made at city hall from Police Chief Dion Sower and John Van Houten, practice leader for Progressive AE, Inc., Grand Rapids-based architectural firm.
