Alex Culver

Tri County boys cross country

Culver broke the school record with an 11th-place finish at their Division 2 regional at Benzie Central on Saturday with a time of 16:12.10 to qualify for the Division 2 state final this weekend at Michigan International Speedway for the third year in a row. Additionally, Culver was a dual-sport athlete, playing soccer as a starter and acting as a captain for both teams.

Jamison Johns

Central Montcalm football

In their 60-24 win over Hart Friday night, Johns, a senior, had 227 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the Hornets. He also had one interception on defense as well.

Ethan King

Belding football

King, a junior, had 14 carries for 247 yards and four touchdowns for the Black Knights in their 52-20 conference championship win over Godwin Heights Friday night. In the first half alone, King had 171 of the 242 rushing yards for the Black Knights on only seven carries, averaging just over 24 yards per carry. 

Grace Coston

Central Montcalm girls cross country

Coston led the Hornets to their fourth-straight Division 3 state finals appearance with a fourth-place finish at their Division 3 regional at Bath Saturday morning. Coston finished with a time of 20:19.1.
