Gage Hoffman
Central Montcalm boys cross country
Hoffman, a senior, finished as the individual state runner-up in Division 3 for boys cross country at the Division 3 state finals on Saturday, running a new personal-best time of 15:33.8. This was his fourth time earning All-State honors as he finished ninth his freshman year, eighth his sophomore year and third last year as a junior. He led the Hornets to an eighth-place finish in Division 3 with 301 points.

Montabella football
Jensen, a junior, scored six touchdowns for the Mustangs in their 64-26 win over Breckenridge Friday night, their first-ever home playoff game. He had 12 carries for 74 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He also had a kick-return touchdown and a 30-yard pass reception for a touchdown.
Tessa Lemke
Ionia volleyball
Lemke, a senior, broke the school record for the most total solo blocks in a season with 41 last Thursday while playing in the Hastings Quad. Lemke had eight total blocks at the net, three of which were solo, as they defeated all three opponents Thursday night.
Kamryn Salladay
Lakeview girls cross country
In only her sixth race this season due to injury, Salladay, a junior, finished 16th overall out of 255 runners with a time of 19:05.90 at the Division 3 state finals on Saturday to earn her third-consecutive All-State honors. Her time on Saturday was also a season best.
