Everyone gets sentimental over those special nostalgic things, whether it’s seeing a toy from your childhood or once again hearing a song from those angsty teen years. They are those mementos that bring us back to childhood. After 38 years of the annual Montcalm Heritage Village Festival, held the first weekend in August, many of the visitors to this year’s event were guests who were re-visiting their childhood, returning to the three-day event and the wonderful memories it held for them.
