Greenville school board  approves sinking fund ballot language for Aug. 6 election 

The Greenville Public Schools Board of Education has taken the next step toward securing millions in funding for the district, though the decision will ultimately be up to voters this August. 

During Monday’s Board of Education meeting, board members voted unanimously (4-0), with Trustee Charlie Mahar, President Kire Wierda and Vice President Michael Huff absent, to approve ballot language of a sinking fund millage proposal for the primary election on Aug. 6.
