66-unit expansion approved for Wellington Apartments

Sidewalks, safety debated as Greenville Planning Commission OKs new housing

Greenville’s housing market continues to trend toward expansion, this time with the approval of 66 new apartment units within the southeastern corner of the city. During the Oct. 9 meeting of the Planning Commission, commissioners voted 6-1 — with Commissioner Pete Frye opposed and Commissioner Jason Redlich absent — to approve an application and site plan for a multifamily residential development that will consist of 66 apartment units.
