Speaking on behalf of his fellow nursing students at Montcalm Community College on Thursday evening, Chase Taylor made it evident to everyone in attendance that their journey into the healthcare industry was not as simple as passing classes and earning a degree. Gathered together in the college’s gymnasium for the annual nursing pinning ceremony, held one day before they graduate, Taylor explained that for the 13 students earning their associate degree in nursing, the next step in their profession was about joining a new community.
