As students explored the grounds of Montcalm Community College last week, they encountered a powerful sight on their small, rural campus: 100 backpacks, each paired with a personal story of struggle and hope. On Wednesday, MCC received a visit from Active Minds, the largest nonprofit in the country mobilizing youth and young adults to transform mental health norms across society.
