Greenville woman gets prison for stealing from Meijer

A Greenville woman was sentenced to nearly two years in prison for stealing from the Greenville Meijer last autumn.

Aalex Michelle Sailor, 39, pleaded guilty Dec. 9, 2021, to first-degree detail fraud. In doing so, she was also convicted of being a habitual offender third offense.

Clarksville man sentenced to prison for vehicle theft

A Clarksville man who hasn’t been successful on community supervision won’t get to serve his current sentence locally.

Michael James Farley, 41, was sentenced in Ionia County Circuit Court on April 20 to 17 months to five years with the Michigan Department of Corrections on one count of taking possession and unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle. He also must pay $985.96 in costs, fees, and restitution of $37.96. Additional restitution was reserved.
