Between the sounds of crashing waterfalls, the never-ending views of colorful forests and overall feeling of remoteness while camped out under a crisp, autumn sky, there is but one place in this world where I truly feel at peace — Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Over the years, friends had detailed some of the amazing things they’d seen there and I read articles about the sights to explore and adventures to be had. So in August 2020, I decided it was time to stop talking about the things I want to do and start actually doing them.
