Saturday’s state track finals in Hudsonville weren’t anything new to Zane Forist.
The Carson City-Crystal senior has been here before in both the shot put and discus, winning All-State honors in both of his prior appearances. As a freshman, Forist placed second in the discus and eighth in the shot put — the state of Michigan was put on notice at that point.
