No public comment was offered during a Reynolds Township Planning Commission public hearing for a proposed solar energy ordinance.
Only six people were in attendance at Thursday evening’s public hearing, and of those, three were township officials (Reynolds Township Zoning Administrator Mark Stevens, Reynolds Township Board Trustee David Saucier and Montcalm County Commissioner Ron Baker of Howard City) and one was a Daily News reporter. The other two people in attendance, a couple, didn’t have any comments.
After years of listening to comments from the public during “statement of citizens” throughout Greenville City Council meetings, the council is now opening the door to allow for more comments to come forward.
