Ph.D.

Years ago, my husband got his Ph.D., a huge accomplishment. Our family was all relieved when it was finished. I overheard our youngest, about 4, say to her friend, “My dad’s a doctor now, but not the kind that can do you any good!” We’ve always laughed at that.
