The Ionia County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Tuesday to stand with the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office and uphold its denial of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by the New York Times.
The vote was 6-0, with Commissioner Georgia Sharp absent.
