The Cato Township Board appointed a new Planning Commission member after a current member didn’t bother to show up for Monday’s meeting deliberation.
The township board voted 5-0 to appoint Joe Main, effectively ousting Joe Sweet who was appointed to the Planning Commission this past March to fill the remainder of Kim Carr’s term after she resigned in January.
