Ionia County board restores 2 prosecutors to full-time, also approves filling vacancy
The Ionia County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday voted 6-1 to restore two assistant prosecutor positions to full-time as well as to fill an assistant prosecutor vacancy.
In September 2020, commissioners enacted a slew of budget cuts, resulting in two assistant prosecutors (Barbara Tsaturova and Allison Witte) seeing their hours reduced from 37.5 hours per week to 30 hours per week.
