On Wednesday afternoon, the Ionia County Personnel Committee voted to reinstate a fired Road Department employee.
Just a few hours later, Ionia County Administrator Stephanie Fox — who had fired the employee — and Finance Director Linda Pigue — who had recommended his termination — both resigned.
