Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch announced on Wednesday it has hired a new vice president of Human Resources as part of the executive team at the fourth-generation family business.
Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch and Minnesota-based Cargill Corp. recently engaged in some friendly competition to help collect warm items for people in need.
From Jan. 3 to 28, Cargill’s Lake Odessa employees and Herbruck’s collected bins of hats, scarves and mittens to be donated to people in their communities who are without these essential winter items. The two companies competed to see which could collect the most items.
Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch announced leadership transitions that will help move the fourth-generation family business forward, furthering its leadership in the poultry industry and on sustainability.
Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch has donated 1.8 million eggs in 2021, surpassing amounts of eggs donated by Herbruck’s in any previous year.
Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch employees have donated hundreds of toys and gifts for local children who might otherwise go without gifts this Christmas.
For his excellence in animal care, Dr. Alex Strauch, staff veterinarian at Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch, this week received an award from Michigan State University.
“We are so proud of Alex for the top-quality care he provides to our animals,” said Mohamed Mousa, vice president of production at Herbruck’s. “Alex’s work is an example of putting our core values into action, and we are so thankful he is a member of our team.”
The holidays are coming, and Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch is working to ensure children have gifts to open on Christmas.
Herbruck’s is a proud sponsor of the Salvation Army Angel Tree to provide gifts and essential items for local children who may go without Christmas presents.
