An issue nearly 35 years in the making reached a point of resolution earlier this month as city officials solidified terms of responsibility for grinder pumps around Baldwin Lake.
During the Sept. 7 meeting of the Greenville City Council, members of the council voted unanimously, with Councilman Jeff Scoby absent, to authorize an allocation of city funds in order to fund a Baldwin Lake grinder pump replacement program.
