Greenville Tool & Die celebrates 75th anniversary

On Aug. 15, 1946, Charles J. Randall and Vandel Nielsen formed a partnership and opened a business in a 1,500-square-foot garage on Benton Street in Greenville with the intention to make small tooling for their former employer, Federal-Mogul Corp.

Seven and a half decades into the future, Randall and Nielsen’s dream is still alive and well, as Greenville Tool & Die is now celebrating its 75th anniversary.
