The associate superintendent of Ionia Public Schools was not chosen for the superintendent job at Fruitport Community Schools.
Ionia Public Schools Associate Superintendent of Instructional Services Jennifer Burns was interviewed for the Fruitport job on June 24 along with another finalist, Shelby Public Schools Superintendent Tim Reeves. The Fruitport school district is located in Muskegon County.
A previous finalist for Ionia Public Schools superintendent is now a finalist for Fruitport Community Schools superintendent.
Ionia Public Schools Associate Superintendent of Instructional Services Jennifer Burns will be interviewed for the Fruitport job at 5:30 p.m. today (Thursday) along with another finalist, Shelby Public Schools Superintendent Tim Reeves.
