In a time when the “new normal” feels anything but, Hans Christian Andersen Theater (HCAT) has defied the odds and presents, “Stepsisters,” a twist on the classic tale of “Cinderella” this weekend.
The cast of 23 ranges in ages from 12 to 18, and while some are making their stage debut, many are returning actors with plenty of shows under their belts. Despite being a collage of schools from the area — including students from Greenville, Belding, Rockford and Central Montcalm — the cast clearly has formed a family bond during this experience.
