Property long home to a church campground is in the process of being developed for housing, much of it with lake frontage.
A total of 247.6 acres — with 2,800 feet of frontage on Townline Lake and 1,832 feet of frontage on Bass Lake — was deeded this past March by Michigan Area United Methodist Camping, a nonprofit corporation in St. Johns, to Lakeview Shores LLC, according to the Montcalm County Register of Deeds Office.
