Sparrow Wound Care Services Carson is an outpatient service offering a comprehensive approach for patients with non-healing wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers, compromised tissue flaps/grafts and bony or soft tissue wounds resulting from radiation treatment. The clinic is located at Sparrow Carson Hospital, 406 E. Elm St., Carson City.

Neil Kapustka has served on the City Council for 12 years
Except for a few years when he was serving in the United States Navy, Carson City’s new mayor Neil Kapustka was born, raised and has worked in town his entire life.
Kapustka has been on the City Council for 12 years. He ran unopposed for the position after the previous mayor, Tom McCrackin, decided he was finished and wanted to spend more time in Florida.

The Schoolhouse Quilt Guild of Carson City is a 40-member group of quilters who set a goal of making 300 book pillows by March 1, 2023, in time for March is Reading Month. The book pillows will be distributed among young readers at Carson City-Crystal Area Schools.
