MCC students compete in Discussion Meet
Four Montcalm Community College students competed in the Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) Collegiate Discussion Meet at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids on Nov. 30.
The Discussion Meet is designed to replicate a committee meeting where participants explore an agricultural topic and ways to address it.

Ionia grad to compete in BPA national conference with her photo
A 2019 Ionia High School graduate who is studying photography at Montcalm Community College will compete in a national competition for a nighttime photo she took of the historic Ionia Theatre.
Mary McQuarrie, 21, of Ionia will travel to Dallas, Texas, later this month to attend the Business Professionals of America (BPA) national conference after being named a finalist in the BPA National Promotional Photography contest.
