The Ionia County Board of Commissioners discussed and approved on Tuesday the purchase of a new John Deere skid steer loader that will primarily be used to maintain county parks.
The price for the item would be $59,415.27 if the county bought it outright or $69,715.27 if they chose to finance the purchase for five years, with five annual payments of $13.882.86.
After a four-year break, the annual Fall Fest is returning to Bertha Brock Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 15.
Fall Fest is free to attend, featuring children’s activities, craft vendors, a treasure hunt and lots more, plus the opportunity to enjoy one of Ionia County’s most beautiful locations.
