An Ionia County judge lost to a Kent County judge in a race to be elected to a Michigan Court of Appeals seat.
Kathleen Feeney, 60, of Rockford received 57% of the vote over Raymond Voet, 60, of Ionia, according to a MIRS report. Feeney is a judge for Kent County Circuit Court while Voet is the judge of Ionia County District Court.
