MIKE TAYLOR: Greenville’s making me nice

Audio Article

Living in a small town has made me a better person. It’s not that I wanted to be a better person; I didn’t. When I came to Greenville over a decade ago, I was happy just as I was.

But little by little, this city worked its will on me and the person I am today is not who I was all those years ago.

As the Ionia County Board of Commissioners continue to rethink the administrator and finance director positions following the March resignations of both, commissioners agreed the best course of action was to seek assistance with the search process.

The meeting came and went in stark contrast to previous marathon workshop sessions on the budget, lasting only 4:35 from start to finish.
