Ionia welcomes Consume Cannabis with ribbon-cutting

The marijuana business is continuing to bud in the city of Ionia as Consume Cannabis Company has officially opened to the public this week.
On Thursday morning, Consume Cannabis held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Ionia Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the opening of Consume’s new location at 406 S. Steele St.

The Heritage Festival is back for its 34th year on Montcalm Community College’s Sidney campus, Aug. 5-7, and the Heritage Village volunteers are ready to once again transport visitors back in time.
After last year’s festival was cancelled due to COVID-19, the village committee is ecstatic to welcome visitors back to the village grounds with all the classic activities offered in years past.

Starting this autumn, Ionia County residents and visitors can explore local food, spirits and local hotspots while supporting restaurants that have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ionia Area Chamber of Commerce and Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch are teaming up to present “Flavors of Ionia County,” a six-month restaurant promotion with by-ticket-only special events and a coupon booklet program for purchase.
