Between mixing with social cliques, studying for standardized tests and balancing a typical course load, Jaime Silosmorales would prefer to be anywhere but inside the setting of a traditional classroom.
However, one aspect of his education convinced him to stay — one that allowed him to get his hands dirty, so to speak.

Living through a pandemic taught us many things.
We learned how to work remotely, how to stock up on cleaning products, how to adapt our routines and how much we love a strong Internet connection.
But perhaps most importantly, we learned that life can be unpredictable and complicated. No matter our background, we all struggle at times. No one is immune to the human experience of emotional pain.
