Edmore Village Council decides against rezoning parcel in Industrial Park
Council approves zoning amendments adding ‘mixed use’The Edmore Village Council in a split vote denied a request for rezoning of a parcel in the village’s Industrial Park to B-2 at its meeting Monday night amid concerns over spot zoning and future use.
Before that decision, and after a long discussion, council members approved changes to the zoning ordinance that added a mixed-use category to both the B-1 and B-2 districts. B-1 is the general business district designation, while B-2 is the highway business district designation.
