2 more students in Ionia County test positive for COVID-19
An Ionia High School student and a Heartlands Institute of Technology student are at home in isolation after they tested positive for COVID-19.
They’re the first cases for both schools.
In a letter sent home to students, parents and school staff last Thursday, Ionia High School Principal Ben Gurk said he had learned of the student’s positive test that day and had spoken with everyone who may have been in close contact with the student and their families.
