The end of the high school girls golf season approaches quickly, just as the golfers begin to hit their stride.
While the high school football season is just two weeks in, golf is just one week away from the postseason. Regional tournaments begin next Monday, Oct. 5, and at least one team, the Greenville Yellow Jackets, is plenty optimistic about advancing past regionals and onto the state tournament.

According to numbers posted by the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) at 5 p.m. Sept. 25, Ionia Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility had 174 prisoners confirmed with COVID-19, one death, and 12 confirmed cases among staff.
