With a ceremonial strike of shovels buried into the earth, the next source of industry in this community was welcomed Monday afternoon with a celebratory groundbreaking. After purchasing property in the city last fall and announcing the development in February, Foremost Farms USA broke ground at the site of its new $57.9 million milk condensing facility — expected to be operational by October — on its 98-acre property in Greenville’s industrial park at 6501 S. Fitzner Road.
