NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Ordinance No. 563 – Rezone Parcel 34-202-170-001-100-00 into the B-3 General Business Zoning District and Include the Parcel into the Zoning Map of Chapter 1246 – Title Six – Zoning of Part Twelve – Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Ionia, Michigan

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers, Ionia City Hall, 114 N. Kidd Street, Ionia, Michigan on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 5:30 PM at a Special Meeting of the City Council, to receive comments on Ordinance No. 563. If approved, this ordinance will rezone Parcel 34-202-170-001-100-00 from R-1, One-Family Residential District to B-3, General Business District as identified in section 1246.01. The proposed ordinance would also include the parcel into the Zoning Map identified in section 1246.02 of Chapter 1246 – Title Six – Zoning of Part Twelve – Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Ionia, Michigan. Following the public hearing the City Council will be asked to approve the ordinance on second reading. The ordinance will become effective seven (7) days after publication.

The City of Ionia complies with the "Americans with Disabilities Act." If auxiliary aids or services are required at a public meeting for individuals with disabilities, please contact Mary Patrick, City Clerk, at least three (3) business days prior to any such meeting. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for examination at the office of the City Manager and copies may be provided at a reasonable charge. LINCOLN AVENUE) TO THE B-3 GENERAL BUSINESS ZONING DISTRICT AS IDENTIFIED IN SECTION 1246.01 DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED OF CHAPTER 1246; AND THE INCLUSION OF THAT PARCEL ON THE ZONING MAP IDENTIFIED IN SECTION 1246.02 DISTRICTS GENERALLY AND ZONING MAP DISTRICT BOUNDARIES OF CHAPTER 1246 – TITLE SIX – ZONING OF PART TWELVE – PLANNING AND ZONING CODE OF SAID CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF IONIA
