Area track teams send 31 athletes to state track finals, TC’s Stuart Gould aims to repeat in 400

Stuart Gould is going to get his wish in one of his final track events at Tri County. 

The Vikings’ standout senior sprinter wanted to bring teammates with him to the MHSAA state track finals before the season began. He had big dreams to bring more than one person wearing Tri County running gear to Forest Hills Eastern’s Hawk Stadium for the Division 2 finals.

Greenville police officer keeps passion for music alive, performing on drums in multiple ensembles

For 23 years, Jamie Sorsen has been patrolling the streets of Greenville, working alongside his fellow officers and firefighters to keep the community safe. 

While every member of the Greenville Department of Public Safety brings their own set of skills and talents to the department, working diligently to keep the streets clear of wrongdoers, there’s one additional element that separates this particular police officer and fire investigator from his peers in the department.
