I’m not a perfectionist, but I do know something is weird when I see it in sports. NASCAR is one of those deals that I can see something is odd about the way a season starts — especially how last year went.
A staggering total of 19 drivers found themselves in victory lane last season, including five first-timers. Those numbers, in of themselves, are wild and seem conducive of what the Next-Gen car brought to the sport last season — parity.
