Michael Falcon has been advocating for the paving of the White Pine Trail through the village for some time.
Falcon, the village manager, was hopeful when Gov. Gretchen Whitmer proposed allocating American Rescue Plan Act money for infrastructure improvements to parks and trails to boost local economies and enhance tourism.
