It’s hasn’t exactly been normal to see Cole Dailey on the mound this season.
While he’s been in the pitching rotation before, a shoulder injury barred him from pitching throughout most of his senior season. As the pitch counts on the Vestaburg arms have risen in recent days due to a lot of baseball being played, head coach Dan Palmer turned to Dailey to see how he was feeling heading into Tuesday’s home doubleheader against Farwell. Dailey confirmed he could pitch and he was thrown in as the starting pitcher in game one.
