‘Steel Magnolias’ hits FRCP stage with heartfelt Southern charm



Follow the sounds of muffled gossip, radio hits of 1985, or the overpowering scent of hairspray and you might just find yourself in Truvy’s Salon of Chinquapin Parish, Louisiana for Flat River Community Players’ (FRCP) production of “Steel Magnolias.”
For director Haven Miller, “Steel Magnolias” marks her directorial debut with FRCP. Miller explains, that it was the beauty of such tight small-town relationships and all that they endure together, which drew her into the show.
