Carli McAlvey proved from a young age that she’s not just a good libero, she was much more than that — something Carson City-Crystal head volleyball coach Kali Jo Donahue noticed from a young age. McAlvey beat out multiple upperclassmen for the starting libero position as a sophomore in 2020 and never relinquished it.
