The Montcalm Prevention Collaborative (MPC) is continuing for as long as possible amid losing its federal funding. The MPC has been funded through the Drug-Free Communities Grant administered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at a rate of $125,000 per year for five years. Funding had also been approved for years six through 10, however, that continuing funding was withdrawn due to budget cuts made by President Donald Trump’s administration.
