The Montcalm County Association of Realtors (MCAR) recently raised $450 for IM Kids 3rd Meal. During the month of September, the Montcalm County Association of Realtors (MCAR) Outreach Committee collected money from local Realtor offices and local businesses to help IM Kids 3rd Meal purchase bulk food items that are needed to pack sack lunches for the students of Ionia and Montcalm counties.
Committee members, Vicki Nelson, Account Executive at Best Homes Title Agency Greenville; Denilda Hubbard, Realtor at Clarity Realty Allied; Nicole Villegas, Realtor at Villegas Group; Keren Scheidel and Kate Youngs, Realtors at Flat River Associates Five Star Real Estate Leaders; Ashley VanSloten, MCAR CEO; and Andrea Belding, MCAR’s Board President and Realtor at Flat River Associates – Five Star Real Estate Leaders planned this outreach event to help benefit IM Kids 3rd Meal.
The committee was able to raise a total of $450 for IM Kids 3rd Meal. The donation money will be used by the facility to purchase various bulk food items that are needed to pack sack lunches for the kiddos in Ionia and Montcalm Counties to take home and eat after school. This donation would not have been possible without the support of the following businesses:

• and MCAR’s Board of Directors
MCAR’s Community Outreach Committee decided that they could do more than just raise donations for the organization. The Committee decided that they would work with local real estate offices and their affiliate business partners to help make sandwiches and pack lunches at the IM Kids 3rd Meal facility monthly every fourth Tuesday at 9 a.m. Their first packing event was held on Sept. 27. The committee met with Michele Allen, IM Kids 3rd Meal Facility Manager and the other wonderful volunteers at IM Kids 3rd Meal who taught them the processes that they must follow to make 500-plus sandwiches for the students at the many receiving schools within Greenville, Belding, Saranac and Central Montcalm school districts.
