MIKE TAYLOR: Stories are everywhere

If there’s one thing I love about this job, it’s the people I’ve met, folks I might never have known if not for this career in journalism.

I’m not talking about the celebrities, though I have eaten hot dogs with the actor Jeff Daniels and shared breakfast with then-Gov. Jennifer Granholm. Typically, I’m not fond of hobnobbing with the rich and famous, but both Jeff and Jennifer were down-to-earth types who made me forget they are Somebodys and I a Nobody.
