Ionia County board tables discussion of new fire department radios

No decision was made, but the Ionia County Board of Commissioners discussed a funding request from Ionia County Central Dispatch for more than an hour during Tuesday’s meeting.

The request, to fund new radio pager system equipment for area fire departments, was first brought before the board by Central Dispatch Director Lance Langdon at their June 14, 2022, meeting, but the item was tabled at that time.
