For the first time since 2018, students from Greenville Middle School return to the stage of the Greenville Performing Arts Center as they present “Alice in Wonderland” on Friday and Saturday.
Based on the story by Lewis Carroll, adapted by Anne Coulter Martens, as the curtain rises, Alice slides into view at the end of her long fall down the rabbit hole. It is a more delightful place for the audience than for Alice, who is trying desperately to get back home. She tries to get help from the Mad Hatter, the Rabbit, and the very nice Cheshire Cat. Alice meets more of the odd and strange characters in Wonderland, ruled by the mad Queen of Hearts.
