Tuesday marked the opening night of the girls basketball season and the Green Hornets of Central Montcalm traveled to Greenville to take on the Yellow Jackets in a game that did not disappoint.
The game came down to the final minute as Central Montcalm mounted multiple 10-point comebacks to have a shot to win it in the final seconds. It wasn’t meant to be though, as Greenville’s defense did just enough to hold off the Hornets, winning 49-47.
