Flat River Academy robotics team wins competition

The Flat River Academy's first robotics team (Robotic Grizzlies) took first place at the Big Rapids Robotics Competition on May 7.

“Our students worked for months on their robot,” Flat River Academy Principal Hilary Karnatz said. “During the design and coding processes, they had many failures before finding solutions that would work. They grew tremendously in their confidence and willingness to make mistakes in order to learn and get better.”
